Exhibitor Services

Professional exhibitor services showcase highlighting seamless event support and premium client experiences.

A major exhibition services provider commissioned Airframe Media to produce a brand film demonstrating their full end-to-end capability — from stand design and fabrication through to logistics, AV integration, and on-event support. The brief was to show prospective clients what happens behind the scenes, moving beyond glossy images of finished stands to reveal the engineering, project management, and operational depth that underpins their service. We proposed and executed a two-day split shoot structured around the before-and-after narrative the client now uses as their core sales presentation framework. Day one was a documentary-style capture at their Enfield warehouse and fabrication facility, beginning before dawn to catch the loading bay at 06:00 as trucks departed for a show at Olympia London. The crew filmed raw materials arriving, CNC routers cutting stand panels with precision, paint booths finishing components to brand specification, and the logistics team coordinating the dispatch schedule. Day two shifted to the venue floor, where the same team that had loaded trucks the previous morning was now on site managing exhibitor arrivals, troubleshooting AV feeds, coordinating stand dressing, and running the registration desk. We shot on a Sony FX6 with Sigma Art primes — 24mm for wide warehouse establishing shots, 35mm for natural-perspective fabrication sequences, and 85mm for detail work on finishes, branding, and the registration desk in operation. Walkthrough shots of the completed stand were captured on a DJI RS4 gimbal, moving at a deliberate pace to let viewers absorb the scale and finish quality. Audio was a dual approach: location-recorded sync sound from a Sennheiser MKH 416 shotgun captured the authentic atmosphere of both environments — the hum of machinery, the chatter of the loading bay, the PA announcements on the show floor — while a studio-recorded voiceover laid in during post provided the narrative through-line. In post-production, the edit intercut the two days to create a journey from raw material to live event, bookended by the client's branding and a call to action. Colour grading maintained a consistent look between the industrial warehouse palette and the polished exhibition-hall environment. The finished 3-minute film is hosted on the client's homepage as their hero brand asset and is included in tender submissions for large-scale exhibition contracts, where it serves as a capability demonstration that a written proposal alone cannot convey.

We needed a film that showed prospects what we actually do, not just the finished stand, but the engineering and logistics behind it. Airframe understood the brief immediately. The warehouse-to-venue structure they proposed is now the backbone of how we present our capability.
