Before work begins, we review the footage and agree the structure, review stages, deliverables, formats and schedule. That gives the editor a clear decision path and gives the client a defined approval process.

    We review all footage, organize media, and create a project structure. If you have a script or shot list, we reference it for the edit.

    Assembly Cut

    We create a rough assembly based on your brief, selecting the best takes and establishing the basic narrative structure.

    Fine Cut

    We refine the edit, focusing on pacing, transitions, and storytelling. Colour grading, graphics, and audio are added.

  4. 04

    Revisions & Delivery

    You review the edit through the agreed feedback stages. We then prepare the approved delivery files listed in the quote.

How long does video post-production take?

Timing depends on the amount of footage, edit complexity, graphics, sound work, review stages and number of delivery versions. We review those inputs before quoting and agree the delivery schedule before work begins.

What's the difference between offline and online editing?

Offline editing is the creative stage where the narrative, takes, pacing and structure are developed. Online editing is the finishing stage where the approved edit is conformed, graded, mixed and prepared for the agreed delivery formats. Airframe Media can coordinate both stages for footage captured by our team or another production crew.

Do you offer revision rounds? How many?

Yes. The quote states the included review stages and how feedback should be supplied. Changes within the agreed brief follow that review plan. New sequences, replacement footage or a changed brief are scoped separately before work continues.

What file formats do you deliver in?

We prepare the formats and versions agreed for the intended channels. Common outputs include MP4 for web and social use, ProRes for production handoff, vertical or square social versions, and separate audio stems where required. The delivery list is confirmed in the quote.
