The types of photography we offer in London

Airframe Media offers photography in London for events, businesses and brands, from event and conference coverage to corporate headshots, products, food, property and team portraits. Each kind of job needs a different plan, so this page explains how we approach every type and what shapes the quote. Photographer numbers and kit are scoped to the job.

8 types

What we photograph, and how each one is quoted

Event photography

Event photography is the art of being in the right place at the right moment without being noticed. We start by learning the running order and the people who matter, such as speakers, hosts and key guests. Then we cover the arrival, the programme and the quieter moments in between, so the set tells the story of the day. Guests are photographed naturally rather than posed unless you ask for portraits.

The quote depends on the length of the event, the number of photographers, the venue and access rules, the number of edited images and how quickly you need them. Tell us the event, the date and whether the pictures are for press, social media or your own records, and we will plan around that.

Corporate photography

Corporate photography covers the pictures a business needs to present itself, including headshots, office and workplace scenes, leadership portraits and images of people at work. The aim is a consistent, professional look across everyone and everything shown. We agree the style with you first, including the background, the framing and how formal the images should feel. Then we photograph people efficiently, so they spend little time away from their desks.

The quote depends on the number of people, the locations, the time on site, the amount of retouching and the number of finished images. Tell us who needs photographing, where and how the images will be used, for example on a website, a LinkedIn profile or a brochure, and we will plan a schedule that suits your team.

Product photography

Good product photography shows what a product is, how big it is and why someone would want it. We begin with the list of products, the platforms the images will appear on and any requirements such as a plain background or a lifestyle setting. Then we plan the lighting and the angles for each item so the set looks consistent. Detail shots help buyers who cannot hold the product themselves.

The quote depends on the number of products, the number of images per product, the setting, the amount of retouching and where the pictures will be used, such as an online shop, packaging or advertising. Send us a list of the products and the sizes, and tell us whether you want us to come to you or whether the products can be brought to us.

Food photography

Food looks its best for a short time, so the shoot is organised around the dishes rather than the clock. We agree the menu items, the style of the images and the setting with you beforehand, whether that is a restaurant table, a kitchen or a plain background. Preparing the plates, lighting them and shooting quickly keeps the food fresh in the pictures. We also photograph the people and places around the food when the brief calls for it.

The quote depends on the number of dishes, the number of images, the location, the time needed to prepare and style the food and where the images will appear, for example a menu, a website or social media. Send us the dishes you want photographed and the date, and we will plan the day with your kitchen team.

Property photography

Property photography has to show rooms honestly while making them look as good as they can. We walk through the property with you or the agent to decide which rooms, views and features deserve a picture, and which time of day gives the best light. Interiors, exteriors and details such as gardens or amenities can each be covered. Rooms are tidied and lit before we shoot, so the images are accurate and appealing.

The quote depends on the number of rooms and spaces, the size of the property, the number of images, the travel involved and how quickly you need the pictures for a listing or a brochure. Tell us the address, the kind of property and who will use the images, and we will confirm the visit and the shot list.

Conference photography

Conference photography records the speakers, the audience and the atmosphere across a programme that may run in several rooms. We plan with the organiser which sessions, speakers and sponsor areas matter most, then cover them from positions that do not distract the room. Candid pictures of delegates talking, listening and networking give the set life beyond the stage. Speaker portraits can be taken during breaks when the schedule allows.

The quote depends on the length of the conference, the number of rooms, the number of photographers, the number of edited images and how fast you need them, for example for posting during the event. Send us the agenda and the venue, mark the sessions that matter most, and tell us who will use the images afterwards.

Brand and lifestyle photography

Brand and lifestyle photography shows people using, wearing or living with what a business offers, so the pictures carry personality as well as information. We begin by understanding the brand, its customers and the mood you want, then agree the locations, the people involved and the shots that will work across your channels. Real settings and natural direction usually look better than elaborate staging, though we can plan either.

The quote depends on the number of locations, the number of people in front of the camera, the length of the shoot, the number of finished images, the retouching and where the pictures will be used, such as advertising, a website or social media. Share your brand guidelines, any reference images and the channels you plan to use, and we will outline a plan for the shoot.

Team photos

A team photo should make a group look like they work well together, and it has to be arranged so everyone is happy to appear in it. We agree the setting and the style with you, whether it is a formal group picture, a relaxed shot in the workplace or individual portraits that sit together as a set. We pay attention to how people are placed and lit, so nobody is hidden or exposed by the angle.

The quote depends on the number of people, the number of different groupings, the location, the time we spend on site, the retouching and the number of finished images. Send us the size of the team and where you want the pictures taken, and let us know how they will be used, such as an about page, a recruitment campaign or a press release.

Pricing

Every job is quoted on what it needs

We do not publish a headline price for this work, because two jobs of the same type rarely need the same crew, kit or edit. Send the brief and we will quote it.

How Airframe pricing works
Time and place
Hours on the day, travel and the number of locations all change the quote.
People, products or spaces
Ten portraits, a full product range and a floor of rooms are very different jobs.
Number of finished images
We agree how many edited images you need, so the quote matches the result you want.
Retouching and style
Light colour correction costs less than detailed retouching. Tell us the standard you expect.
Where the images will be used
Web, print and advertising uses are agreed at the start, because usage affects the brief.
Turnaround
If you need images the same day or by a fixed deadline, say so when you ask.

Questions

Questions people ask before they book

What types of photography do you offer in London?

We offer event, conference, corporate, team, product, food, property and brand and lifestyle photography. Each has its own section on this page.

Do you take corporate headshots?

Yes. Corporate photography includes headshots for individuals and teams. Tell us how many people, where, and how the images will be used.

Can you photograph and film the same event?

Yes. Photography and video can be planned together, which saves repeating the access and set-up work. The quote lists each part separately.

How much does photography cost?

We quote each job on its own requirements, so there is no headline price. Hours, locations, people or products, finished images, retouching, usage and turnaround all shape the quote. Send the brief on WhatsApp or read how our pricing works.

How many edited images do we receive?

The number is agreed in the quote before the job. It depends on what you need the images for, and we can adjust it if the brief changes.

How far ahead should we book a photographer?

As soon as you know the date and the place. Early notice lets us check access and agree the shot list before the day.

Tell us what you are planning

WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach us. Say what you are filming, where and roughly when, and we will come back with questions or a quote.
